Should I be worried about moles and other skin growths?

Most moles tend to be benign in nature and harmless.

However, there are a few characteristics that you should keep an eye out for that may indicate otherwise.

What type of benign growths exist?

Non-cancerous moles, warts, keratosis or skin tags.

If there is a mole I am unsure about, what characteristics should I look for that would indicate I need it to be checked? 
Moles that are delicate, bleed easy or start changing in color or shape should be checked. If they are asymmetrical with a ragged border, have multiple colors or are larger than 6mm this requires additional screening. Please book a consultation in order to assess and treat the moles.
